T_Dog
I think we just bought the last bottle of this nice Chardonnay at our local Rimping. Excellent stuff, and the only good white wine I have found in a decade here. Thought I would pass the word in case there might be a few bottles left somewhere in the country as it is a good buy at 399 baht.
thaipod
And where can we buy it?
T_Dog
We found it at Rimping up here in Chiang Mai, but the importer likely distributed it to other higher end grocery stores.
h90
Easy to find good wine in Thailand....if you spend >1000 Baht for wine you could buy in Europe for 3-5 Euro
T_Dog
Not a Chardonnay, but Rimping is carrying a Redwood Vineyards Merlot, 2012 from California, which is excellent and under 600 baht.
GinBoy2
I'm Californian and i've long since given up expecting to find decent wine at a good price. I'm now reconciled to buying wine in a box. If it's going to be crappy I might as well buy it as cheap as possible. Now as for Quail Creek, darn good budget winery out of Napa. I like their Pinot Noir which they sell in Whole Foods for about as I recall $
