Campaign to seek 2 more years for PM

Featured Replies

The current PM doesn't need a petition, a vote, or an engraved invitation to stay 2 more years. He has the signature and the authority to stay as long as he wants.

However, he needs to keep an eye on his own team. They might get itchy.

We could be looking at the formation of years of a "Military Dynasty".

In this dynasty...the position of PM would be passed from one Military leader to another...a Military Monarchy if you will...

All the while talking about a Democratically elected PM...Constitution...and such while plotting to never relinquish power back to a civilian government...

Just saying...wai2.gif

The military dynasty (in existence since 1932) shall be terminated by the people before this decade is through.

You mean a "Military Dynasty" rather like the one operated by the juntas best mates in the country to the north of Thailand.

I suspect they would like that very much. However back when the Burmese established their "Military Dynasty" they were able to kill their opponents without attracting that much attention or effective criticism from the outside world.

The outside world is too aware of what goes on nowadays, and that alone will make such a dynasty far more difficult to establish here, requiring as it would the elimination of a significant amount of opposition.

I just hope that they realise that, and aren't desperate enough to try.
