Going to Savannakhet using nokair

Im thinking of going to Savannakhet to get a new non o based on mariage my last one expired on 20th of May 2015 my aloved stay in thailand fineshes 9th July 2015 will i have any problems at the border crosing.

Going to use air asia or nok air to Muckdahan aroung the end of june any help apriciated.

I cannot think of any reason for you having a problem at the border.

The fly/ride flights arrive to late to a apply for the visa on the same day you arrive in Mukdahan.

If you take a flight that gets to the bridge after 18:00 you will not be able to cross because that is the official closing time for the Lao visa on arrival office. You would need to spend the night in Mukdahan and take the first bus to Savannakhet.

Once you are in the country your visa expiration date means nothing. It is only the last day you can use it to enter the country.

Dont forget that if you go back into Savanaket to fly back you will need double or multiple re-entry to get into Thailand again at Don Muang.

No problem with that, you fly from Bangkok, to Nakhon Panhom in Thailand and back.

Transport to the border and from the border is by Bus.

He will be returning with a multiple entry non-o visa, He would not need a re-entry permit nor would have a permit to stay to get one for.

It may arrive in Nakhon Phanom early enough but the ride side of the fly/ride does arrive in Mukdahan until 10 am. If you were lucky you might get to the consulate in time to apply by 11 am.
