Work Permit Medical Certificate?

Featured Replies

Is the medical certificate required for work permit renewal in Bangkok? Just read on another forum that they announced it is no longer needed. Seems unlikely.

Thanks.

I am going to move this to the visas/work permit forum as I think the most knowledgeable people will see it there.

Moved.

It's required for the Extension of Stay.

It is still required for the wp renewal and no it's not for the extension of stay.

A medical certificate is not required for any extension of stay.

There are couple of rogue immigration offices that ask for it when you apply for one based upon retirement.

It is still required for a work permit application or renewal.

Not true. For work permit it is required. Last year I needed a medical cert. including the syph exemption and blood type. Think it should include as well I have no elephant trunk and all the other bad deceases. This was Chiang Mai btw.

Going in again this month. Fingers crossed. Never know what pops up.
