When I arrived in Pattaya ten years ago, I joined a number of pool teams then the Quiz league. I've probably socialised with several hundred. I cannot think of any that I would classify as inadequate/deranged/demented. OP go to Charlie Browns Tex-Mex on soi 11 & speak to the boss - David. Do you think the propensity for farangs old and young to dive off balconies or walkways at the airport is rooted in anything but serious mental instability? To be fair, I can't think of any Western bloke I've met in a pub here except by appointment My recommendation would be to stick to friends that you've known for some years from previous work in other countries, or people with whom you've shared the depression and melancholy of a humiliating defeat on the sporting field by a minor nation. And rely on introductions from mutual friends to further spread your social net, or some common hobby or interest. Whoring is not a proper hobby, by the way.
