What kind of extension, or permit, I need for this?

Featured Replies

I am on a retirement extension, and I want to get a 40 % of a Limited Partnership Company without doing any work or having any position, just to invest. The company already have 2 Thai partners and 2 Thai employees.

Can I do it without changing my retirement extension?

Their is no restriction for investing in a company as long as you are not working.

Yes...thumbsup.gif

If you are a American citizen, you can own 100% of a Thai company, without changing retirement extension, as long as you do not work. If you do want to work, you can, with additional paperwork and work permit.

Look up information on, TREATY OF AMITY, on embassy website

There is some paperwork involved, but you can do it yourself.
