June 22, 201511 yr Hi, I have a double-entry tourist visa. My first 60 days have soon passed and I need to apply for a 30 day extension (whereafter I'll leave the country, activating my double-entry and come back for an additional 60 + 30 days - if everything runs smoothly). I have never applied for an extension in Bangkok before and I wonder if the immigration service at the Government complex is the right place? And is it still the TM7 I should use when applying? Thanks!
June 22, 201511 yr You apply at Chaeng Wattana immigration within the government complex. Yes you still use the TM7 form to apply.
June 22, 201511 yr My first 60 days have soon passed You can go in a week or so before the end of your current permission to stay. The 30 days is added onto your current permission, so you lose nothing by going in a bit early ... and waiting until the last minute could be a problem if, for some reason, you were delayed in getting the application in.
