Coverall PPE - where to buy in Thailand?

Featured Replies

I need to buy some good quality desert/tropics suitable coverall full length or split with jacket top PPE for some consultancy work with multiple clients.

Has anyone got a good shop recommendation for this in Bangkok?

Ive used these for years. All the good gear here mate. 5.1 Tactical etc. They have stores all over Bangkok too.

Thanks, I'll take a walk around to one of their stores, looks interesting. Cannot see any coveralls on the web site, but lots of other good stuff there I see:-)

Do you need the FR type? (Fire Resistant). Not sure where these are available but heard there is a store in Ban Chang area that has normal coveralls with sizes to fit expats.

you can find FRC's (flames resistant cotton) in many places, however if its Nomex he is a looking for a bit trickier to find

if a garment is 100% cotton, this is typically classed as fire resistant as well

Interesting, seems to have a lot of PPE but no actual coveralls that I can find. I went to the Tank store mentioned above and none there either, more of a outdoor/campers store.

I don't need FR type, just generic sun protective and suitable for tropical warm climates. I'll probably end up buying some North Face type light fabric trousers and long sleeve pocketed shirts if I cannot get anything else. A bit pricey, but more comfortable than a laborers thick fabric coverall usually provided by the factory.

Nah everyone knows the first person you befriend offshore is the store man.

Never leave an installation without something.
