saakura
I have a question regarding the fees payable for getting a PR. I applied in 2009 on the basis of having worked and paid taxes in Thailand for 15 years. At that time my marraige to a Thai citizen was not registered. We got it registered this year 2015. The PR application has been approved and i will be getting it tomorrow. The fee for individuals is 191400 Baht and for those married to Thai citizen is 95700 Baht. So my question is what fee will be applicable in my case? The immigration officer at CW whom i contacted says that since my original application was not based on marraige to a Thai citizen, i have to pay 191400 Baht. Is this correct? Many thanks to anyone who can give me some information.
ubonjoe
I assume you would have to married to a Thai when you originally applied for PR in order to get the reduced amount,
