theoldgit
There are two, as the previous poster indicates make sure you qualify, this is lifted from the VFS Website 24 Hours - Super Priority Visa Service The cost of this service is an additional fee of £600 (currently 31,200 Baht). Customers wishing to use SPVS should select an SPV appointment slot when making an on-line appointment to attend the Bangkok Visa Application Centre (VAC). SPVS applications will be ready for collection within 24 hours of biometric enrolment at the VAC. Please note that the 24 hour period does not include weekend days or public holidays when the VAC is closed for example SPVS applications enrolled on a Friday morning will be ready for collection the following Monday morning - as this is the next working day. Customers applying in one of the following immigration routes are eligible to use this service: Visitors all types Points Based System Tier 2 and Tier 5 (applicants with authority to be living in Thailand and their dependents) Points Based System Tier 5 (Temporary worker Creative and Sporting) for applicants currently in Thailand for a similar purpose to the activity proposed to be undertaken in the UK. If you are applying for any other visa type or for a visa for a Commonwealth or British Overseas Territory you should not use the Super Priority Visa Service. We strongly recommend that customers with any form of adverse immigration history do not use this service. Using the Super Priority Visa Service does not imply or guarantee that your visa application will be successful. All applicants must meet the requirements of the relevant UK Immigration Rules. Please note: The Super Priority Visa Service fee is non-refundable once your biometrics have been enrolled. It will not always be possible for UK Visas & Immigration to process applications within 24 hours. In these circumstances we will let you know when you can expect your decision and whether your Super Priority Visa Service fee can be refunded. The amount paid for the Super Priority Visa Service will not be refunded if the visa is refused. Please note the terms and conditions of the Super Priority Visa Service and any disputes and claims arising out of its subject matter are to be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law. The English Courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with SPVS. Trevor1809
Can I set the appointment up before I submit the application or does the application have to be submitted first? Can I make the appointment and my wife turn up with the application?
7by7
Trevor, The above information is for people applying for a visa in Thailand. From your previous posts it appears your wife is actually in the UK and soon to apply for Further Leave to Remain; correct? In which case, see Visa premium service centres. The cost of using this service in the UK is £400 on top of the application fee of, for FLR, £649. If you use this service you should get a decision the same day. Remember she/you will have to pay an NHS surcharge of £500 as well! Edited June 25, 2015 by 7by7
Trevor1809
Yes correct this is an FLR application in the UK. Yes I realize the NHS charge has to be paid as well.
Trevor1809
I take it a spouse can't attend the interview. Is my wife going to have to explain what all the great wodge of attached paper is or will the interview know what they are looking at.
7by7
It's not an interview as such; like attending VFS to hand in the initial visa application, she'll hand in the application and supportin g documents and then wait. You can go with her. From 4. Book an appointment in the pages linked to above: Who you can bring to an appointmentAny dependents named on your application must come with you to your appointment. You can also bring any other people you need at your appointment, eg carers, family members or legal representatives.......How long it takesYou’ll be told on the day:how long it’ll take to process your application (most applications are processed within 2 hours 30 minutes)whether your application can be processed that day - or if it can’t, what your options areIf your application can be completed that day:your documents will be given back to youyour biometric residence permit will be ordered (it will take 7 to 10 days to arrive)you can either wait while it’s being processed, or leave and come back later
Trevor1809
ok so she wont be quizzed on the documents that were submitted. Looking ahead to the ILR, that will be due by the 8 March 2018. Looking at payroll s/w you can't produce a P60 until after the 20 March. I was hoping to get the March 2018 salary paid early then submit a 2017/18 P60 with the application. My wife will only be able to submit hers and my 2016/17 P60, ie a year old. It will be supported with pay slips up to Feb 2018. I assume that there is no problem with that. 7by7
If you look at Para 2 of the specified evidence appendix, you will see when using salaried employment in the UK to meet the financial requirement that P60s are not required.
