German Ambassador meets PM's Office Minister to say farewell

BANGKOK, 26 June 2015 (NNT) – The Minister attached to the Prime Minister’s Office has met with the retiring Ambassador of Germany who paid a visit to say goodbye upon the completion of his term in Thailand.

M.L. Panadda Diskul, PM’s Office Minister and Permanent Secretary to the PM’s Office, on Thursday welcomed the German Ambassador to Thailand H.E. Rolf Peter Gottfried Schulze and held a brief talk.

After the meeting, M.L. Panadda said that Mr. Schulze visited the PM’s Office to bid farewell as he is completing his four-year posting to the country.

Mr. Schulze spoke of his good impression of Thailand and the cordial relations between the two countries, particularly in the area of education.

M.L. Panadda said that, according to the German Ambassador, Germany is interested in Thailand’s infrastructure development projects, especially the high-speed rail plan. He informed Mr. Schulze that any cooperation would be of mutual benefit and conducted with transparency.

Err, what is newsworthy here?

Why say goodbye to some generals?

Didn't you read it all ? '' Germany is interested in Thailand's infrastructure developement........'' There is money in trains.

German Railroad infrastructure is in the hands of DB Netz, a private company.

Mr Schulze probably found a new job there.
