Dear Members! I need to make a border run to have a new stamp for next year in my passport Visa type Non.Imm. O-A

I booked a flight to Kuala Lumpur, same day return. Is necessary to enter Malaysia to get entry and departure stamp, or I can stay in the transit hall, no enter Malaysia ? If I no have Malysian border stamps, Thai immigration officer is accepting this situation, and would give me the stamp for next year? Regards all helpful answers Laszlo.

To be 100% safe, you need to enter Malaysia, stamp and return.

You must enter and depart form Malaysia by passing through immigration otherwise your re-entry to Thailand would not be considered valid because you did not enter another country.
