PHUKET: A majority of votes – more than a fifth (21 per cent) – in the latest Phuket News poll said that the reformation of Phuket’s outdated bus network/system should be prioritized.

Water level in Lam Takhong dam critical

NAKHON RATCHASIMA, 28 June 2015 (NNT) - The Lam Takhong dam in Nakhon Ratchasima province has 57 million cubic meters or 18% of water left for use. The local irrigation department has suggested farmers in the irrigation areas to postpone their cultivation until the rain comes in July.

Campaign to free 14 student activists launched
The Nation

BANGKOK: -- A campaign supporting for 14 student activists detained in the Bangkok Remand Prison has started at noon Sunday at Thammasat University.

The campaign called "Post it for friends" was initiated by League of Liberal Thammasat for Democracy, calling for people to write messages to give moral support for the students.

People flocked to write the messages at the Historic Wall beside its Book Center near Tha Phrachan gate.
