something dodgy here.... my son, 5 yrs old got caught with a plastic toy gun in his luggage at swampy.... quite a big deal.... big lecture gun taken etc.... so how the police chief got it thru I don't know unless corruption was involved.....

People here on TV, always put down Thai Karachagons as incompetent. Looks like they re doing a bang up job.

Just post a bunch of articles about scanners and waalaa you sidetrack the main issue. His baggage and carry on's went on the plane without being searched. The airport authorities are the ones that should be put on the grill, and getting suspensions. Yet pretty easy to stuff all of that by just blabbing away about scanners ...... . In Thailand you can fool al the people all the people all the time.

You're right on the money there torpedo1970, saving face takes precedence over admitting that they are wrong, fudging stats,lying etc, and I don't think that Thailand will overcome many of its problems until this situation changes.
