At the expat meeting at Pattaya today it discussed about the new rules, i am not sure if it has been discussed before as there is so many long threads, so please excuse me.

They said for the VOA you can get max 90 days here then a maximum of there Toruist single entrys then you have to stay outside Thailand for 3 months.

Also Tighter on Non Imm O (Marriage) Police checks more will get a visit, also the money in the bank will be checked to see its still there after the App is approved. Also the big one was Non Imm O (marriage) apps will REQUIRE a Workpermit before application will be accepted? can anyone confirm this one or really what they mean here?

I think the Non imm B stuff has been discussed elsewhere that a WP3 is required when applyinh on a asian Imm office now, as well as the letter from director personally signed requesting the change in visa status.

Is it possible for Sunbelt or someone to give a posting that they only can update so we can easily see whats going on without having to read thru pages and pages?

I'm getting a bit sick of all this 'apparently I heard this that- somebody told me' etc....

It's up to the individual to contact the Consulate/Embassy who is going to deal with the application - only then will you find out what you need to get what you need.
