USD 33.90 on the street in Pattaya today. Saw this rate at several exchanges on 2nd Road and Beach Road. Some 33.84 and 33.86 and one as low as 33.63.

According to Bloomberg, the Thai baht hit a six year low today.....when it crossed the 34:1 mark for THB/USD.

That pretty much invalidates the OP's claim that he received 34.54 THB per 1 USD last week....not that anyone trusted the information then.
