Ps2 Console

Featured Replies

Hi,

I had my PS2 chipped about 18 months ago. For some reason it has stopped playing copy games, but it still plays originals. Last place i took it to took 4 days to chip it. Are their any places in Pattaya who provide a same day service to re-chip, or repair the existing chip.

Many thanks,

justsignedin.

Don't think you will get it done in a day.

but try Pattaya home video, second road, just past the lights of the junction of pattaya thai

right hand side going north.

This will cost a bit so get a quote first if you can. (PS3 is out soon)

i have had a lot of bad games around pattaya in

the last 6 months so it might be the quality of the copy game.

Have a nice game.

Thanks Icecubes,

Just to update you, it was Pattaya home video who originally chipped the console for me ( it was brought from england ). I thought about taking it back there (not England) but i've just bought a game which i love, and i need to get my fix. Finished up taking it a games stall at tukcom. According to the guy there it was not the chip, he chopped a few things

out, moved them around, put a new lens in and i'm back in business.

my PS2 has started rejecting games that it used to play all the time and crashing quite a bit, maybe it's time for a tune up.

Where exactly did you take yours Justin ?

Took it to tukcom. I think it was the fourth floor, same floor as they sell games and movies. When you get to the top of the escalator, face yourself away from south pattaya road. Walk down the the left side and yoy will see a small stall advertising sega, playstation etc. Looks like he just repairs and sells second hand, not sure if he actually chips them. He took about two hours to do the work.

Fellas,

Bought my PS2 from the same shop Pattaya home video on second rd about 2 years ago, got the deal with 10 free games....anyway about 6 months ago it stopped playing any type of game so I took it back to the shop.....they had to re-chip it and kept it overnight, collected it the following day still working fine now......think it cost around 1500baht for the new chip if it remember correctly.

All the best,

Desertcam. :o
