90 days report in Phuket to day.

Featured Replies

It`s take me 2 minute to report 90 days in Phuket Immigration to day clap2.gif

Yes, same for me last week in Phuket Town.

Not so much fun when you have to do the same in January or April !!

Did you try Patong immigration yet...? 90 day report is a breeze pretty much all year round.

Why would those 2 months be so bad ?

I did mine in Chiang Mai today. Got there at 11:55, walked out about 8 minutes later.

bigt3116 - it would have been more accurate for me to have said "January TO April". These months are high season, so it is packed with people and Phuket Town immigration can barely cope. January and April are the months I had to do a 90-day report.

I went to Phuket Town for a 90-day report in mid-January, arriving at 11:15am on a Tuesday morning. They refused me entry saying they had already issued more waiting tickets than they could process before 12:00 noon when they go for a 1 hour lunch. They told me to return at 1:00pm. Instead I jumped on the motorbike, arrived at Patong immigration for 11:45am, where there was not a single person queuing. Had my 90-day report completed within 2 minutes and was back in Kathu just after noon.

I normally always go to Patong now, unless I have other reasons to be in Phuket Town coinciding with a 90-day report. Last week I had my Thai test for the ED visa at the Ministry of Education in Phuket Town, so I knew it would be quicker to do the 90-day report just down the road at Phuket Town immigration instead, with it being low season.

Would definitely always go to Patong for 90-day report or certificate of residence.

90day report today in Udon Thani ...............in and out inside 2 mins at 10am.

Great service ( for 90 day reporting).................about 10 people waiting for other services .

Online reporting would be better. None of you are adding your commute to your reporting time.

ThaiWai - totally agree: online reporting would be much better....and I actually tried to report online last week. I spent about 30 minutes searching Google and trying different ways to access the online reporting system. Nothing worked - I could not even get access with any type of browser. In the end, the fastest and safest route was to drive 5 minutes down the road and do it manually!!

....maybe online reporting will be fixed for the next report in October....? ;-)

Did you look at the pinned topic at the top of this forum/s first page? Lots of info is there.

They changed the address for online reporting at the end of June.

Still confused, so Jan-Apr are high season for............tourists, who do not do 90 day reports.

Is it a big deal if you lose the bit of paper from your last 90 day report?

Noticed mine was missing but I am not due to report again till end of August.

Is there any penalty if I turn up without it?

No your 90 day reporting should be recorded in the computer.

It should not be a problem as long as your previous reporting records were not lost on the their computers. In that case you might have to go through stacks of reports to find yours.

No penalty other than some unhappy officers unless your previous report cannot be found. If not found then it would be a 2000 baht fine.

bigt3116 - Immigration also does 30-days extensions to the standard "30-days on arrival" stamp, certificates of residence and multiple other services. I'm guessing most of the people are tourists originally coming for 30-days who decide they want to stay longer. I don't now for certain why most are there, I just see Phuket Town Immigration is always packed full of people during these high season months.

In general there are far more people around on the whole island from January to April. There's barely a drop of rain falls in that 4 month period so the tourists flock in. The traffic is much heavier and of course restaurants, bars, clubs and hotels are busier.

  • 8 months later...

90 days in Phuket has been pared to the absolute bone - now they no longer require copies of passport, visa etc. all they check is the previous 90 day form (which the farang checkers remove from the passport and to which they attach your queue number) That is it - 30 seconds, finish till next time.
