freedomnow
If I had to sell my motorbike while outside Thailand via a friend, what documentation should I prepare in advance/sign and are there any official documents I need to get from Govt. office ? I'm an expat currently on education visa in rented accommodation if that is relevant.

freedomnow
Visa time remaining usually 30 days for the new owner to change the name Thanks. You mean the buyer or seller needs 30 days remaining on visa ?
B1ade
seller and buyer must have current stamps, so you would have to copy you passports current 'admitted until' page and give it to him before you left. In phuket there is no 30 day limit, I have sold before with just a few days left, not sure about other offices.
