PATTAYA: -- In the early hours of Tuesday, Banglamung District Narcotics Officers conducted raids on two shops in South Pattaya which were suspected of being used to produce and distribute illegal drugs.

Officers made simultaneous raids of the Milk & Toast Shop and the Timeline Tattoo Shop located at the southern end of Pattaya Third Road.

At the Milk & Toast Shop officers arrested Khun Supagit aged 30 on the second floor where it appeares that a small production facility was installed to produce liquid Ketamine, a class 2 drug in Thailand. A single Ecstasy Tablet was also found and seized by officers, along with a microwave which appeared to contain drug residue which will be tested in due course.

At the second location Khun Witayagorn aged 19 was arrested on the second floor of the Tattoo Shop where a similar production facility was found. In this case no actual drugs could be found but the suspect did fail a drugs test and was therefore arrested.
