Visa Run from Airport to Airport?

Featured Replies

Can you do a visa run from Bangkok airport (Suvarnabhumi), to Phnom Penh airport and back to Bangkok?

I have never done a visa run like this before, I have been told you can do this. Or do I need to go to the Embassy in Phnom Penh.

I have a 1 yr visa type O, this is for my 90 day stamp. So I was think that my Thai Wife & I would fly to Phnom Penh for the 3 days at Nagaworld Hotel & Casino.

I have aways done my visa run to Mae Sot, and that has been one easy in & out in about 30 to 40 mins. All for 500 baht or $10. US

If you're just going for a new 90 day entry on an existing visa you can do as you suggest, no need to go anywhere near an embassy or stay out of Thailand for more than a few minutes.

"I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"

Many people fly out and back on the same day to get new entries from their visas.

Many use KL because there are several low cost flights a day both ways and there is no visa required for Malaysia.

Others do it as a holiday trip and spend a few days out of the country as you propose.
