hello to all

first sorry.gif about my English

i will try my best

i am married in Thailand and so far i gut 2 times 1 year visa immigrant type O
i also have a baby here with my wife
Monday my visa will finish and i already book in advance one fly to Cambodia
to gut my new 1 year visa
i always get my visa from the Thai embassy in Cambodia
faster and better for me
yesterday i looking for my passport but i can't find
also is missing passport from my wife & my baby
My baby have 2 passports, one Thai and one from EU
4 Passports is missing stolen
my wife have a shop and i remember i left them all together in the office
i call me embassy and they tell me that they cane give me only one emergency passport to go back home

but i have to report first my stolen passport in the Thai Police
if i like i regular passport i have to wait 2-3 months because my Police have to investigate my case first
and they need time for that
i don't like to go back home because i was there before 3 months there
if i stay in Thailand without visa and passport for 3 months or maybe more
i will be blacklisted ?

i am not a tourist and i am not working here
i meaning i will have the same punishment like this down :

Overstay of more than 90 days: Barred from re-entering the kingdom for one year.
Overstay of more than one year: Barred from re-entering for three years.
Overstay more than three years: Barred from re-entering for five years.
Overstay more than five years: Barred from re-entering for 10 years.
Overstay more than 10 years: Barred for life.

In cases where the foreigner is caught staying in the country illegally:

Overstay of less than a year: Barred for five years.
Overstay of more than a year: Barred for 10 year

ps:
is maybe possible to stay in Thailand legit 2-3 more months without visa till my new regular passport arrive ?
i don't know what to do
i know only that i will like to stay more here with my wife and baby
and my wife she is 2 months pregnant right now

so new baby comming thumbsup.gif

After you have an emergency passport or travel document you can apply for a 60 day extension to visit your wife.

The overstay rules you posted were never approved by a higher authority and probably never will be..

you say : apply for a 60 day extension to visit your wife

apply from where ? from Bangkok ?i am here right now

if i have one emergency passport

this will be valid just for 1-2 weeks i suppose if not only for couple days

even if they give me this 60 days extension

after how i will go back in my country with no valid passport date ?

about this overstay rule i just copy & paste from here :

You need to find out more info about the emergency travel document you can get. Your only choice may be to go back home to get a passport.

The news article you quoted says they were proposed rules and it was dated a year ago. They were never approved.

ok

how about i stay here and wait my regular passport

in 3-4 months and after i try to go out from airport

i will have the Thai police report for my stolen passport.

my new passport from my embassy

all my documentation that i am married with children in Thailand

NP i pay this 20k fine

i will blacklisted or not ?

There is no ban for overstay.

You need to find out if you can get type of document that would be a temporary replacement for a passport that immigration would accept and stamp the 60 day extension into. It would not need to be one that you can travel on.

I have done a bit of searching and found this webpage with info about Maltese passports. https://identitymalta.com/passport-office/?lang=mt

but i have to report first my stolen passport in the Thai Police

if i like i regular passport i have to wait 2-3 months because my Police have to investigate my case first

and they need time for that

Something strange here.

I doubt very much that police will do a thourough "investigation".

Maybe there is a mandatory waiting time to close the case.

Think twice whether reporting "stolen" or "lost".

It seems the problem you have is that the consulate for Malta here is only a honorary consulate.

A check of the Thai MFA website shows that the Maltese embassy in Beijing is responsible for here. Perhaps contact them for some help. Info on MFA website: http://www.mfa.go.th/main/en/information/1694/40815-MALTA-(BEIJING).html

NP hehe

nobody is perfect in this world biggrin.png

I surprised that they cannot be of any more help than they have been giving you since it is an embassy.

I still do not understand the infestation of the lost/stolen passport taking 2 to 3 months unless they mean it will be done in Greece.

yes Greek Police need this 2-3 months to investigate my case

maybe to send one report in Interpol-Europol and check if somebody travel to EU with

my passport etc.

normal the embassy need just couple days to give a new passport.

So accidentally i will brake the Thai low and overstay,

to go back and return in Thailand i need more then +1500 euros.

better i stay here and pay 20k after couple months

i thing i have good excuses for this

I suspect you will find out it will not take 2 to 3 months. At least I would hope so.

You should see if they can give you some type of document not valid for travel but good enough to get the 60 day extension at immigration.
