Taps running low at hospital
THE NATION

BANGKOK: -- ONE of the two water suppliers for the Thammasat University Hospital has suspended its operation in the wake of the drought crisis, thus affecting the hospital's water supply.

The hospital is located in Pathum Thani's Khlong Luang district.

"Now, we can only get water from the Provincial Waterworks Authority, so the flow of water from our faucets is rather weak," the hospital's director Dr Chittinad Havanond said.

He said he had told hospital staff to save water, and had reserved 100 barrels each with 150 litres of water.

Pathum Thani farmers, meanwhile, said they were praying hard for rain as the drought was close to ravaging their paddy fields.

Well could ovet charge more farangs and dig well.

And when rain finally comes it will be due to the praying.

Global warming is causing droughts all over the world. http://www.onegreenplanet.org/environment/drought-and-the-food-system/

But the rest of the world does not have Phatum Thani farmers praying hard for rain do they, so they will be stuffed and we will be OK ;-)

Well could ovet charge more farangs and dig well.

How would over charging farangs increase the volume of water??

the woodster with their illegal logging over the years are contributing to huge extend to the rain malaise by having destroyed the

ecological balance in thailand.
