Mango Bob
A person flight arrives at 11:50 pm 23 July 15, that person gets to the immigrations desk at 12:15 am 24 Jul 15. What date does the 30 days start on the 23 July or 24 July?
ubonjoe
The 24th. Immigration changes their stamps at midnight. I have been in line waiting and seen it done. Got the extra day but didn't need it.
PaddyOd
When I flew into BKK on March 29, I had it all figured out, add 30 days to March 29 and you get April 28. And since my return flight to the States was on April 28th, all was good. Or so I thought. The Thais count the day you land as one of the thirty days, so my stamp was good til April 27. One day short. I've heard from some who got a day less because the officer forgot to change the stamp forward from the day before. Moral: give your self a few days cushion. PS: Cambodia on the other hand gives you a month, you enter on the 1st, you're good til the following 1st. Edited July 24, 2015 by PaddyOd
