Fyi Immigration At Suan Plu Open

as announced on thai tv yesterday, the immigration office at suan plu in bangers was indeed open, and has resumed normal hours and service.

i went for a 30 day extension on my tourist visa, (2nd entry of 3) and everything was absolutely business as usual, except less crowded than at other times. i was the ONLY person renewing a tourist visa at 15.30 today, and it was as perfunctory as it ever was, the only thing that hurt was the standard pain of coughing up 1,900 baht for 30 days.

while this may seem obvious and hardly worth posting, we are in the midst of a visa reshuffle, and just had a coup tuesday, so i feel it is worth mentioning especially for the people who do not sift through these forums on a regular basis the way some of us (like me) do.
