ChrisY1
Oh dear.......the good general trying to distance himself and his comrades from the mouth of Suthep.........unfortunately, they are seen by all to be working to a similar goal.......defer any thought of elections in the next couple of years....a sad time for Thailand.........! zaphod reborn
Should have arrested him when he left the monkhood. He did incite his group to illegally occupy government buildings and interfere with government functions. Basically, the same illegal conduct for which the airport occupiers were found liable. He's going to be nothing but a trouble maker now that he's on the loose.
Down the rabbit hole
The prime minister said he would like to ask Suthep to avoid causing more conflicts in the country with his campaigns. Well, considering he was a [possibly *the*] major beneficiary of the previous conflicts, this does seem a little ungrateful. Or perhaps he thinks people don't know what games he was playing. That's a startling thought. Edited August 4, 2015 by Down the rabbit hole
nong38
The PM should take Suthep on one side and have a few words with him to the affect that " thank you for your good wishes and concern about the country, but, your political days are over, time for you to go put your feet up. You have had your time, now its time for others to have a go. Enjoy your retirement."
bamnutsak
The PM should take Suthep on one side and have a few words with him 5-5-5. Suthep is in the position of power, Field Marshall Prayut is looking over his shoulder.

That's a startling thought. Strange words "would like to ask" after all he is in charge. Mail Suthep or better yet hand deliver a copy of article 44 and underline the part that he is in violation of. That's a startling thought. I think what's even more startling is that there are people who believe all of this was 'carefully planned'. Careful planning not strong here. It just might be a 'result'! billd766
The PM should take Suthep on one side and have a few words with him 5-5-5. Suthep is in the position of power, Field Marshall Prayut is looking over his shoulder. No he isn't. There are very very few people with more power than the PM and Suthep is definitely not one of them.
