YouTube blocked

Featured Replies

Just tried (1930 hrs) accessing YouTube but the site has been blocked. Anyone else experiencing this?

Also tried connecting through my VPN but still no luck. I though a VPN could get around the blocks???

Just because you can't get thru on something, you can't assumed the site is blocked. It's your computer.

So, being redirected to the 203.113.26.210 MICT page isn't convincing enough for you?

I tried quoting the OP with no success (no option to) - BUT

It can, i suspect local error, a bad VPN configuration or a tro....NO...it can't be!

EDIT: Unless the OP's VPN exit node is in Thailand, in which case it's about as much use as a fish on a bike.

Today it's working just fine - can connect to YouTube without a problem. No idea what has caused this but thank you to those who actually tried to help.

Never had problems with Youtube. Pattaya / 3bb and AIS.

it was working on the time mentioned, using STV cable, in Bkk

Woke up and the first thing i though of was "Make sure Use default Gateway on Remote network is checked" In the VPN adapter settings.

Also expect this topic to be binned as we're discussing working around government restrictions :(

All the 203.113.26.210 MICT page redirections are done on the ISP side, someone entering IP addresses into a router table.

I'd bet good money that someone was fooling around and put in the YouTube addresses as a prank. And now it's been cleared.

Not blocked but Thailand blocking a lot of sexual content of late I hazard a guess this is what occurred and no vpn will correct said blockade.

You could sign up for Purevpn smart dns addon and check has this problem. If not, you know the problem is your VPN setup. I know for a fact Isp does not think the smartdns option is a VPN.
