SoiBiker
Does anyone have any experience of getting a mac repaired at Fortune Town? If so, would you recommend anyone in particular? I'm aware of Woody at Pantip, but I'd rather go to Fortune Town if there's anyone reliable there.
BuddhistVirus
He is quite good and reliable. Give him a call. He can speak English too.
roblgs
If there is an iCare in Fortune then I'd take it there... official Apple repair agents here.
alliswell
Yes i agree with BuddhistVirus. I've been to that place to format & upgrade my old Mac. If he cannot repair yours, try to go to 5th floor (take the escalator near Infinity mac). The shop on right side at the parking lot entrance. Goodluck!! SoiBiker
Thanks chaps. This is an older, out of warranty machine, so I'm not particularly interested in taking it to an official agent. I'll give infinity a try.
TheRascal
On the 4th floor next to the SE-ED book shop there's this shop: http://www.maccenter.co.th/mcc/Home.html I've had work done to my macbook here and a number of my friends have too and they are excellent. Jonathon
I would avoid the Apple shop, they will just want to sell you an exchange one. Don't seem interested in doing repairs.
siam2007
I have used (after learning of this shop here on TV) and subsequently recommended PROCORNER on the 3rd floor of Fortune. I just checked their website www.itunlimit.com and they explicitly mention they do MAC repairs, can easily be spotted on their website. click on CONTACT at the top of the page, and you will see a floor map and how to get there. Khun NICK, the owner (He seems to be a Thai-Japanese, his full name is Suriya Matsuda) speaks fluent English, their prices are extremely reasonable and they will only charge if they could solve the problem. In some cases they will even charge less than what they have quoted before (happened to me twice). Their work is of good quality, had no issues until now. Plus, they employ several handicapped people which is another thing that I absolutely liked. Before you use any other shop, give this one a try. http://www.itunlimit.com
MobileTopUp
Had a great experience here: http://www.unlimitmac.com/ Only go to Mac Fortune if you are under warranty. Otherwise they charge you triple what Unlimitmac charges.
