Boo
Has anyone done this trip? Does it leave directly from Hua Hin or do you take a bus to another location to pick up the boat? Is the night journey or day better in terms of comfort, what are the seating facilities like etc? I have checked their website but is limited information on there. Thanks

sirocco
Hello, Boo, if you are in Hua Hin or around, the Lomprayah office is on the left side of the road Petchkasem, going towards Villa Market. As we can see from the road. Otherwise, you can have the documentation to the tourist office at the clock. It is bus + ferry.
Boo
Thanks for the replies. We will be staying close to the clock tower so that's handy to know it leaves from near there. Still debating whether to take the night trip, leaving at 11.30pm & arriving in Samui 11.20am or the day trip leaving 8.30am & arriving 4.20pm. Assuming the night trip will involve a long wait at Chumpon as it doesn't depart to samui until 7.30am but the bus only takes around 4hrs? Thanks again for the info though, I will talk it over with Mr Boo & decide from there.
PattayaPhom
There is also a night bus that goes HH-Samui leaving from Donsak first ferry. Think it departs Clock Tower about 8pm
