3 Bombs In Phucket?

Featured Replies

Yesterday my thai wife told me a friend had told her that 3 bombs had gone off in patong Phucket.

i dismissed it as i had not seen anything on the news..bbc/cnn etc....Today 3 other thais said it has been on the thai news and in the papers. The 3 are not related! Surely this cannot be a hoax?

the bombs were supposed to have been in a bar, in ocean plaza and on the beach...They also said that 14 people had died and 76 injured..two farangs had died...Today i phoned the BRITISH EMBASSY and was told by the duty officer out of normal working hours that they new nothing.

I do hope this is not true but i cannot believe that so many people say they have seen it on thai TV.

Is there anyone in Phucket who can say whether this is true or not and if not true can stop this story in its tracts...

not true

Hmmm maybe a lot of confusion and changes as the word was spread about the Hadyai problem a few days ago.
