Has anyone applied Thailand tourist visa from Singapore lately?

Mostly I'm interested about actual requirements, what do they really ask?

-Proof of funds?

-Ticket out of Thailand?

Yes, I know that SG embassy webpages there's a list of them, but just wanna make sure... Last time I applied visa from KL, all what they need was Visa form, copy of passport, photo and visa fee. No tickets, no proof of funds..

I did some tourist visas out of Singapore and never had a problem.

They will ask to see a return plane ticket, and they will check how many previous visas you have had -- their rule seems to be that you can spend 6 months out of any 12 as a tourist in Thailand, but back-to-back may be more problematic.

The fee is S$50, payable in cash in that currency only.

Note that the visa office has moved -- it is no longer on Orchard Road, but has moved to the back of the embassy on Claymore Road. When you get there (there will be a queue), exchange your Singapore immigration card for an ID badge at the kiosk.

Thx Rick!

At this year I've been in Thailand from January 1st up till 8th of June. I went back home to Finland for few weeks and applied a new passport. Got back to Thailand 30th of July.

So, I got only 1 30days stamp in my passport now. Do they check previous visas from database or passport?

There is no rush to go out for a tourist visa. You can get a 30 day extension of your 30 day entry at an immigration office for a fee of 1900 baht.

Singapore has been refusing applications for a tourist visa if you have just left Thailand before applying for the visa. I advise you to go somewhere else for your visa.

They don't check.
