Extensions to 90 day visas

I am puzzled. This seems to be about extensions to the 90 day limit of a stay under the non immig o visa. I have such a visa, and had no idea that there was any way to avoid leaving the country (visa run) before the 90 days expired. Yes I'm new to all this - it's my first such visa. Please enlighten me.

A Non Imm O visa can be extended beyond the initial 90 days if:

1. You are married to a Thai and can show 400K in the bank or an income of 40K per month.

2. You are over 50 and can show 800K in the bank or an income of 65K a month.

3. You have avalid work permit.
