La Liga TV

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm searched everywhere with contradictory information so I was hoping someone might have concrete information. For the past dew years True have shown the Spanish La Liga matches however I think they have lost the rights for the next few seasons. I get lots of information on Google but when I contrasted I can't actually find any evidence to supported. Does anyone know what platform they will be showing the matches this season?

Thanks

Actually RS had the La Liga rights till 2014/15...which they shared the rights later on with True.

I too have been trying to find out about the broadcast rights of the current season.

Wikipedia says BeIN sports has the rights in Thailand and will be on TrueVisions (edit: CH 179). BeIN Sports 1 HD.

Hi Buddhist,

Thank for the quick reply. I saw that on various broadcasting rights websites( also saw CH7) however when I looked at the program schedule on the True website and on my TV schedule for BeIN I could not see any of this weekends matches. Then again they showed the European super cup and it wasn't on any of the schedules either. I guess will have to wait until later tonight.

Jognyo, let me know if you found out which Channel the games are on...looks like it won't be on TrueVisions...

Thank you.

I get the feeling at the moment there is no La Liga games in any of the Thai platforms. I have looked at CTH schedule and Trues and at least for this weekend no joy. Will keep an eye out but I get the feeling that it will be internet this year. Looks like it might be the same for the Champions League. Will update as soon as I manage some sort of confirmation.

Hi Buddhist,

My wife read in some Thai football forum that although Bein sports has the rights for La Liga they dont have the platform to air the matches so they will be doing what RS did in the past and auction them. Looks like ao far non of the major platforms have put forward a high enough bid. So it could all change in the next few weeks as the continue to negotiate.
