Can any member provide me with some travel advice. Is there a bus service between Pattaya and Roi Et, I know I can catch a bus from Bangkok but I don't really want to travel back there from Pattaya if I don't have to.

I arrive in Pattaya on the 12th Oct and would like to have all my travel plans sorted before I get there, so if someone could be provide me with some details of times cost etc it would be greatly appreciated.

Regards

John

You wouldn't be traveling "back" there.

My advice would be bus to MorChit then bus to RoiEt.

I've heard there are buses to Issan from somewhere on Suk Rd in Pty but don't know more than that.

In any case you will be going toward BKK.

Hi,

There is a bus from Pattaya to Mugdahan that stops at Roi Et. My wife travelled on it about 6 weeks ago and I've just asked if it goes to Roi Et, she says Yes. The coach leaves the air/con bus station at 7.00pm. There's one also in day time but I'm not sure of time. Wife says there's a coach everyday. I was very impressed when I put her on the coach as it was a brand new double deck liner with all the mod cons. It also passed through Buriram. She paid 619 baht. for Mugdahan and it took 12 hours, so maybe about 10- 11 hours for Roi Et. Hope that helps. :o:D
