August 31, 201510 yr I like the Pistonhead from Sweden. In most 7-11's and Makro for 44bht/tin. Edited August 31, 201510 yr by jmccarty
September 1, 201510 yr Chang is liked by many people. The sales figures prove that, as well as everyday conversation. However, they have shot themselves in the foot by withdrawing Export (a better version) and draught which I have been drinking for the last five years. Classic is ok for us if we want a strong beer, but when you are over 65 you look for something a bit lighter. Perhaps Chang think they have an ageing customer-base. After all, it's not so cool to sponsor Everton. fighting talk that !!!
September 13, 201510 yr OK so Archa beer has been revamped with new look and taste/ alcohol content. However if your buying at a fast moving store you may be surprised that they have changed the taste again without telling anyone. I bought a new case and its like drinking frothy beer. Then a day later bought 3 bottles different dates all taste different with an older one same design taste better. Surely as a brewer you inform people that you are going change the flavour. PS the new one makes you gag.
September 13, 201510 yr All Thai beers taste pretty much the same, in all honesty it doesn't make me sick and neither is it moorish. Have just ordered some beer lao, have heard good reports on it, unless you guys know better.
September 13, 201510 yr Archa v Cheers, any opinions? Archa by a country mile. if you're talking about Blue Cheers, I'd possibly agree. But not Cheers Red. But everyone has different palates, one man's meat etc... I tried a can of that Red Cheers the other day and it is ok. Can you get it in bottles?
September 24, 201510 yr Author I want to try the pistonhead lager. I saw it in today in 7/11. But 44 baht? Might at well get Beerlao is you're going to spend a little more. Archa time!
