10 Or 30 Day Stamps Now At Mae Sai

Hi,

I have sifted through a lot on the visa changes this morning. Please forgive me if this is covered in another thread, but I really did look.

I am in Chiang Mai. My visa is up on October 4th. But I have a brake between my language classes this week. I thought about making my visa run Thursday September the 28th.

I have hear that Mea Sai “may” be giving only 10 day stamps, so people have to come back in early October under the new regulations.

I am not trying to procure extra days by going now. I leave Thailand in November anyway. However, I am definitely trying to avoid accidentally having to make that terrifying ride twice in one week. The driving just scares me.

Can someone who has been to Mea Sai in the last couple days provide some input as to what they received.

two of my thai friends came back from the measai border yesterday.

they said 30 day staps are ok.

so i'l be there next week too
