I have a small Toshiba Libretto here and I can t get the removable flopy drive to work. The external cd rom worked yesterday and today... nothing. :o

When I look in device manager (win95) there are no drivers installed....yellow question marks

Also when I look at the C drive i see a WIN95 folder and a WIN000 folder.

After doing a search I also saw only a few dozen drivers on the whole drive..

I saw thi s problem years ago but forget how i solved it..

Does anyone know if i can physically connect the drive from that portable to my desktop pc and save some files and also reinstall WIN?

Found out afterwards I need a laplink cable...

My next post better be a smarter one... it'll make me a senior member :o
