AIS Post pay special promotion for 10 year or more customers 450 baht a month

After calling them and telling them their plans don't work for me they told me about this since I have had the same number for more that 10 years:

450 bath a month

5gb of data

450 talk minutes to all networks

no sms included so you would need to add one.

They don't list this on their website so you would have to call to subscribe. I was prepay for the 7 years and then changed to post pay about 5 years ago so I qualified.

The plan is called Smart 899 for 50% off for first year, they told me I can renew at the same price next year.

If you are a Iphone user they offer special plans others cant get.

I've just heard from a friend who's running a restaurant that he only pays 760 baht and he's got a whole package.

High speed Internet, I think it was 30 MB, some great TV channels ( English, German and some other languages), plus some free internet on the mobile phone and free calls.

I think he said True Move, but I will ask him again to make sure. I've just signed a Fiber Glass solution on a one year contract with TOT, got 20 MB download and 11 MB !!!! Upload speed. A great way to surf the net.

My friend's offer seems to be way better, but I've come to the conclusion that TOT can be good. No change for now, it's really fast and reliable.

Together with the "new" Windows 10 really cool.

If there's a problem, please talk to the manager, not to a secretary and you're okay.

If it comes with unlimited wifi that might be ok for some people...

I have 9gb a month package but I'm almost always in a wifi area so never really run out I download a lot of data

Just tried to call AIS and they knew nothing of this promotion. They will call back within 3 hours.

Why do some users laugh at the 5GB? Maybe they do all their Internet activity on their phones. I seldom use more than 3 GB per month. Oh I have also unlimited wifi (Superwifi) with download speeds of around 140 Mbps, so I connect with my laptop at these hotspots.

At the moment I am paying 799 per month. I forget how many minutes I have but I never go over.

Did they tell you only 10 year customers can get this? I was wondering is this is BS or not.

After telling them I was fed up with paying 700-1000b per month for limited usage and that they only gave great plans to ipone owners, did they offer this. I had an expert AIS representative apparently on the phone who was well informed and his english had almost no accent for a thai.

@lostinisaan I don't need that much data as I tend to be on wifi at my regular places i visit. AIS seems to charge a lot for 300 or more voice minutes per month so this really works for me.

I thought about changing to True but I can't get GSM signal in some parts of my building. DTac plans are the same as AIS.

I have TOT adsl and get a fast speed with them but I am only about 500 meters from their office so that seems to make the difference.
