My VOA (30 day entry stamp) expires tomorrow. I am planning on going to Laos next week to get my Type O. Can I extend my visa (10 day) on the same day that it expires or will I have to run for the border? Thanks in advance.

Extending for 10 days should be no problem. The fee will be 1900B.

Passport holders from 39 exempted countries will be able to enter into the Kingdom of Thailand without visa and remain in Thailand for 30 days per each visit. However, the total duration of stay should not exceed 90 days within six month period, counting from the date of first entry (effective date 1 October 2006).
