Markets, JJ Green night market next to Chatuchak is good, has loads of cool cheap retro stuff to buy.

Asiatique Market also good but a bit more expensive but has loads restaurants. Good Indian there also.

Take a walk around Chinatown.

Rot Fai park or Lumpini park, I prefer Rot Fai.

Little India is an interesting place.

Muang Boran is a good day in Samut Prakan, I think it is about 700 bht but you can spend hours there.

Visit the temples and Grand Palace

Do a river tour

If you like Zoo's there is Safari World or Dusit Zoo and there is the Aquarium at Paragon.

Siam Nirimit show.

20 k is plenty to see and do loads in Bangkok for the week.

Just avoid Sukhumvit as you might well bump into TVF members.
