Hi everyone,

Well I am needing advice from experienced individuals in thailand. I've read on a post regarding exhausted financials in thailand. As I am also in a way familiar to the case but not that serious. I am currently staying with my thai gf who is 6 months pregnant and life is so so. I've tried to contact my embassy for advice but I don't seem that they are so helpful in terms of many things.

ask the other guy who had no money, he got a lot of advice but never ever returned to the forum, other than that rent on a low floor, with the money you havent got

I was hoping that have anyone coped with this problems and managed to stay strong?

Survival is a human instinct....having a positive attitude helps!

Everyone has something at sometime that they need to cope with, you are alone....deal directly with your problems all the while maintaining a positive attitude clap2.gif

you have to sit down and think things through logically .... !

priorities are needed : money ? visa ? food & expenses ? family ? accommodation ?

you work out what i needed in order of most / must have to continue here ... then you work out how to get to that milestone.

also , think about ... am I best to go home or 6 - 12 months and get some work and save then return ... ?

It's not against the law to have no money but I see what you mean.....

It is not against the law but it is unforgivable Sin!! However OP has taken the right step to approach Thai VIsa for advice as a lot of esteem members here would bend over backwards to help him.

I believe it is against the law for a foreigner with no money to continue to live in Thailand. Need a visa. What kind of Visa involves no money?

Sounds to me like he wants to live here illegally.

Shouldn't you have learned how to make a life for yourself and solve problems, before you brought another life into this world?

Ever since I've reached here, I've learnt a lot and able to handle few things, but I've read many things on thaivisa that I am slowly experiencing up myself. I'm actually on overstay already, I've able stay so long because I never go to pubs or public places. Even if there is a traffic roadblock I use the alternate routes here. If I do get stopped they never asked me for my passport, i just paid the 200 baht fine for not wearing a helmet and off I go again. I'm know that it's wrong to be overstaying my Visa but I will pay the fine and go back to my home country very soon.

I am a double degree holder. I'm majoring in information systems and minor in business administration from Curtin University, Perth. I've tried asking around if they'd hire me but my thai is kinda broken but I can speak and understand simple thai

I take it you are talking about financial woes here?

Are you a native English speaker? IF you have a degree, head to your local school or look online for a teaching job.

If you read his post it is clear he is not capable of teaching English.

Why after 6 months have you just realized you need to get your self sorted?? Go back to Perth and secure a job that will pay the bills. You have no experience to offer any company here.

Speaking for myself i would never be in this position as i would not have the courage to leave for a foreign country long term without income.

What are these people thinking? That takes guts.

I know a few English teachers who can not speak Thai. They are there to teach English. You have to take a course for a month to get the permission. Are you afraid you can't pass it?

He's probably young... that would explain a lot.

What course is that?

As far as his Thai goes, I think he's been looking at jobs other than teaching.
