PATTAYA: -- For some it’s a bizarre story and for those who believe in ghosts it is disturbing as a 14 year old girl, who is believed to have been possessed by evil spirits was healed following a visit to the Pratamnuk Mountain in South Pattaya.

The incident began outside of the offices of a Thai newspaper on Pattaya Third Road where journalists heard and saw a girl screaming on the pavement close-by and offered assistance.

The girl was accompanied by 10 of her friends and it was decided that the best way to “heal” her was to take her to the Pratamnuk Mountain behind the Pattaya City Sign where ghosts are thought to reside.

Ah, Thailand. Just when I thought I'd seen all the oddities that this country has to offer, we get an exorcism on Pratumnak Hill. And not only that, it's considered newsworthy as well! cheesy.gif

Oh! to be naive again! at least you didn't have too think too much.

When drugs and alcohol wear off people revert back to normal.

This article is too stupid to comment on.

Ohhh, wait, I just did. My bad.

Perhaps this is an Exorcism; this kind of thing is done by many Religions throughout the world. It could be some sort of emotional distress that she was suffering from, & by her friends coming together, supporting, comforting & caring for her, she then recovered.

Or more likely, came down off an alcohol or drug induced high. Unless, of course, you believe in the boogieman.

Yup, they are there, but on the other side of the sign...thousands of creepy ghosts. (...and ghouls, vampires and one werewolf)

And those who believe in telekinetic raise my right hand.

I just wonder who is cashing in on this new Buddhist-voodoo stunt.

From Government House to airstrips ghost everywhere. Maybe they are the ones who run this nation...

"Possessed" by the evil spirit "Sam Song" more likely. tongue.png

In other possession news: A lollipop was given to a screaming possessed 5 year old which caused the demon to flee the child's body as everyone knows ghosts hate sweets.

Is that anything like Sang Som?

Maybe, but if you re read my last sentence, that would help the girl, if she was having a drug induced psychosis

Some charlatans called me obsessed by a photo of a girl in Internet - in modern Europe, 2013. Never got healed, met the girl instead.

I totally believe that their are ghosts in Pattaya ....

I have stayed many times in hotels where at night you can hear moaning and screaming coming from the rooms beside mine ...

I have even heard what can only be described as exoticisms being performed with the words " Oh God, Oh God, Oh God" being repeated many times .... blink.png

So Thais fear this place ? I just came up with a cunning plan...

It's amazing that in 2015, people believe in this rubbish.

....which is why they call it "Amazing Thailand".

Others believes in Jesus, or Allah or whatever. Superstition will never die.

wonder if she is in early stages of developing schizophrenia? not uncommon in young people. i hope someone can help her.

if not, maybe burn her at the stake until the demons flee her body.

Spirits are very real. Come past my place when im doing some black magic or the like. Then tell me otherwise.

Only people with very limited minds do not believe in spirits.

You opened it because you are possessed, just like the girl.

Make all the jokes you like, believe or don't. I took my lady and 5 other ladies on an all day road trip to a certain guy known to conduct successful

exorcisms as we call them. This was thought to be a more permenany method than the traditional voodoo music and crazy dancing done alongside the road in the very small Issan village where I stay.

Pratumnak mountain is at night frequented by Thai gay looking for a quick shack, confirmed by many, so maybe she saw her boyfriend performing there :)
