Four British ISIL Figthers Placed on UN Sanctions List at UK's Request

According to media reports, four British nationals, fighting for the Islamic State (IS, or ISIL) militant group, have been added to the UN sanctions list

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Four British nationals, fighting for the Islamic State (ISIL) militant group, have been added to the UN sanctions list after the UK government made a corresponding request, local media reported, citing the prime minister's office.

"As well as the domestic measures we have introduced, such as the power to seize passports, these sanctions are a powerful tool – freezing an individual’s assets and imposing a global travel ban on them.

It also sends a clear deterrent message to those thinking of going to fight for ISIL. We will continue to consider whether more individuals should be subjected to the sanctions," a Downing Street spokesman said Monday, as quoted by the Guardian newspaper.

The United Nations approved the measure on Monday.

unbelievable how they can grow up and be educated by the UK and reap all of its 1st world benefits. Only to switch sides and become spineless terrorists...

Not really that unbelievable when you look at what Islam teaches and what its followers are brainwashed with since birth.

They (British) killed 2 ISIS British fighters with a drone a few weeks ago from a base in the UK..........There was a big celebration, about it.

A drone cost £5 million ....you do the figures for the 700 or so that have left to join ISIS

Fighting a war this way-----are we going to run out of money before they run out of fighters....................coffee1.gif

5 Millions primarily office study and labor.

5 million in salaries so that quickly go back into the economy of the country in addition to allowing the acquisition of an essential know-how.

Just revoke their passports, then they can rot there for the rest of their lives.

Why stop there ? even if they are Naturalised British, they still can have their Naturalisation revoked for crimes against the State (of the UK) such as Treason! Never mind the UN Sanctions, let's show them some of our own and send them back to a Country that has no rules and laws! other than, what suits their misguided antiquated,Barbaric,Religion! which is a worldwide problem!

About time.

Hope to see many more on UN Sanctions

Not good enough,if past experience is anything to go by, this UN Sanction will tie the UK up in the International Courts for the next ten years, paid for by the stupid UK Legal free! with a multitude of appeals! Just like the Cleric from Finsbury Park London, who was preaching hate, and cost the UK £5 million plus, and his state benefits amounted to hundreds of thousands of pounds!

Rejoice!

Four of nearly a thousand are on UN sanctions list!

Too little, too late... Not nearly enough!

Deportation of all family members is a good measure.

All the people with whom they were in regular multiple contacts - must be put on a watch list.

It will not be too long before the friends and family will start reporting those nutters.
