Cam Khao Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 I just love it when this serious, well dressed news anchor says "Three ladyboys arrested on Pattaya beach road".
frankthetank Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Bravo, something to look forward to seeing.
BobTH Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Impressive, a nice new touch to the website. Thanks.
Thai Dan Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Well done. Appreciate all the supporting photos, etc., but maybe there are a tad too many, IMHO.
MickGC Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 I'm impressed. Nicely polished Will only improve with time. Can see this bulletin becoming very popular within the expat community and others who wish to catch up with the latest trending Thai news. Keep up the good work.
waldroj Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 I just love it when this serious, well dressed news anchor says "Three ladyboys arrested on Pattaya beach road". There was the hint of a smirk, and a bit of a stumble during that item, but he regained his composure. Actually had more trouble with those large numbers from the dam’s capacity.
Sparkles Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 I could be wrong but the news reader Rod Mc Neil I am sure was on Oz TV many years ago
jamiesilver Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 excellent now i can listen to Thaivisa without reading all the garbage negative comments just to get the info i need
LivinLOS Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 excellent now i can listen to Thaivisa without reading all the garbage negative comments just to get the info i need You mean like that one ??
gerry123 Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 very amateurish presentation come on, some seemingly unknown elderly gentleman stumbling his way through today's headlines i expected a more polished presentation than that, very retro and all from a state of the art studio from the capitol of thailand ,,,
Shot Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 I appreciate the effort, but the camera angle is wrong. This guy is going to need a neck massage with happy ending when he's finished.
DeeMak9 Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Nice. However, at least two things that need improvement in my opinion. 1. When you do a summary of the headlines, show images related to it. 2. Please make use of some normal fonts instead of "Times new roman" and "Impact". It makes it look unprofessional.
ripstanley Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 I could be wrong but the news reader Rod Mc Neil I am sure was on Oz TV many years ago Certainly was. ABC TV and radio https://rodmcneiltv.wordpress.com/about/
masuk Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 very amateurish presentation come on, some seemingly unknown elderly gentleman stumbling his way through today's headlines i expected a more polished presentation than that, very retro and all from a state of the art studio from the capitol of thailand ,,, grumble, moan, whinge. Some people are never happy.
mortiboy Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Well done TV ! Very good Idea. Things are looking up!
swissbie Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 A female speaker would be more appealing, not necessary like the Albanien TV speaker who got fired this week because of the outspoken scantily dressed outfit..
Loeilad Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Oh please! - if you can't even afford an autocue, how are you going to pay for your news sources? or will you just get it off other news stations?
nisakiman Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Considering it was a first outing for a news broadcast, I thought it was very good. Well done Thaivisa. Ignore the moaners who think it should be as polished as the news bulletins from big TV stations with megabucks to spend, and years of experience in the genre. If they don't think it's good enough, maybe they could stump up a few million Baht every month to pay for all the professionals who are involved in making news bulletins in the television world. I'm sure it will only improve as time passes.
sungod Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 TV has got it all, experts from every entity, today let me introduce to you the 'critical former News Anchors and Producers.'
biplanebluey Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 Great stuff TV.Look foreward to this getting better and better so keep it up and GOOD LUCK----- great venture
TallGuyJohninBKK Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 Not a bad first outing. Kind of pointless for anyone who regularly reads the written news here on the forum, but I recognize that not everyone does or wants to... One humorous point: When the anchor was reading the snippet about the DDOS Internet attacks that brought down a couple Thai government websites, the graphic image displayed behind the anchor for a portion of that report was a big version of the ThaiVisa logo... Might want to reconsider that next time, otherwise the Thai goverment might get the wrong idea... PS - As noted above, TelePrompter technology has made it to Thailand by now, right???
Varangkul Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 Well done - - a foot in the door! It will get better!
