Tourist visa in Jakarta - requirements?

Featured Replies

Does anyone have recent experiences with obtaining a tourist visa at the Thai Embassy in Jakarta?

Which documents are required? Do I need to show a confirmed itinerary out of Thailand for each entry? Do they require bank statements/hotel bookings?

Do they only issue single-entry visas, or also double and triple?

The embassy website links to a generic MFA page, which is unhelpful, as it may not correspond to specific consulate's requirements and prevailing mood. Of course, they're not responding to e-mail/phone (wasn't expecting them to).

They have been reported as doing up to a 3 entry visa.

The last report I can recall was that they will want to see a ticket out of Thailand for each entry and proof of accommodations. It can be a hotel or a rented residence,

Thank you @ubonjoe.

Do you know if proof of accommodations can be just an initial booking for a day or two, or does it have to cover the entire 60-day period? The latter would be awfully inconvenient (and TBH completely unrealistic).

Just a few days for each entry. Bali wants a week. It only needs to be a reservation.
