PATTAYA: -- Nongprue Police were called to a village, currently under construction, just before daybreak on Friday to deal with an apparent attempted suicide.

At the scene, in Soi Tungklom-Tanman in East Pattaya, was Khun Somboon aged 42, who was lying face-down on a newly constructed cement road. According to a friend and work colleague he had climbed up a 10 meter high street pylon and jumped off, following a heated argument with his wife.
