PATTAYA: -- The Pattaya Public Health Department are currently conducting food hygiene checks around the City and are running a 10 day campaign during the Pattaya Vegetarian Festival which is ongoing until 22nd October.

What about pesticide?

What about washing their hands after going to the toilet??!!

100% guaranteed they don't make the study public.

Hot water compulsory when doing the washing up, in the gutter, using a garden hose

Yes of course they will make it public. If they find this bacteria it will be good news , could improve the hygiene when they are aware of it.

So what are these hygiene checkers doing the other 50 weeks of the year? I mean, vegetables are prepared and eaten during the whole year. Has this Coliform Bacteria only High Season during some festivals when some people avoid some meat (as good as possible)?

On a more serious note: How long does it take here to make such analyses?

i could tell em where to look i think i got all those bugs last time back, been at work two weeks and just coming good.

So are these "hygiene checks" only done once a year ?

I truly cannot believe vendor food is hygienic.

Sterilization ? Refridgeration ? I think not.

Eat at your peril.

And I doubt when a vendor is preparing food, cleanliness is anywhere on the agenda.

Touching money then touching food !!!! what another joke of a pathetic government program. check for bacteria on the table you eat on or the bathrooms that never get cleaned.
