Turkish explosions may be linked to ISIL and PKK, says Davutoglu

ANKARA: -- Turkey’s Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu has told reporters that an investigation into Saturday’s (October 10) bombings was being intensified.

“We are deepening our investigation into these attacks, especially looking into Twitter accounts and some IP addresses. We have reached some results and have found that both ISIS [iSIL] and the PKK [Kurdistan Worker’s Party] may have played an active role in its organisation,” said Davutoglu.

The Turkish prime minister said he would not tolerate any support given by other countries to groups linked to Kurdish militants.

“Just as allied counties would not welcome arms support to groups linked to al-Qaeda, Turkey too would absolutely not welcome arms aid to groups linked to the PKK. Turkey will absolutely not allow any tolerance toward this matter,” said Davutoglu.

The two explosions targeted a rally of pro-Kurdish peace activists near Ankara’s main train station, three weeks ahead of a general election.

More likely link is to Erdogan.

May be realted?

Ya think?

Pure lies to attempt to implicate the PKK as the demonstration was pro-Kurdish and anti-sectarian.

Certainly one can't rule out ISIS but neither can a right-wing group like the Grey Wolves or others linked to the government party be ruled out.

Turkey should be careful about the Kurds.

The Kurdish female military unit has killed more ISIL soldiers than the whole Turkish military.

Your conclusion is probably correct, but the reasoning is unsound.

It is quite possible for cynical extremists to take this sort of reprehensible action against their own supporters if they believe it will attract sympathy for their own cause and rally more support. The PKK has such extremists within it's deepest recesses, but so do the other parties mentioned. There are no bounds to the extremists evil determination.

PKK ha ?? Ha haha.

This Islamic puppet of the president Erdogan should just shut up.

I am a Turk, and am proud to have PKK on our soil. PKK never bombs civilians; it is the Islamic terrorists which do that, as was most probably the case last Saturday.

Leave PKK, the freedom fighters, alone.

I am a Marxist Turk, proud to be pro-PKK.

Although PKK is dedicated in it's fight against Daesh, PKK in parallel is also engaged in terrorist activities. A list of PKK terrorist attacks from 2012 is provided below

Are you a supporter of PKK terrorism?
