The Government House ceremony will be broadcast from 4.45pm. The Council for Democratic Reform (CDR) is due to submit its choice for PM - expected to be General Surayud Chulanont - for endorsement by His Majesty the King today, after the expected promulgation of the interim charter. The interim constitution was submitted for royal endorsement yesterday. Former Senate speaker Meechai Ruchuphan, a key figure in the drafting of the interim constitution, has resigned as legal adviser to the CDR, a source said.
