nickupton
Hello all Agri-environment schemes which must be funded by national governments of the EU, under EU directives on agriculture are gaining popularity in the UK with conservationists and farmers alike. Whilst I realise that farmers in the EU are "lucky" to have this funding as an option and that Thai farmers are unlikely to be able to go for this sort of option I am also aware that there are some projects such as these funded from sources other than government and that a number of Thai farmers have chosen to protect wildlife off of their own backs. I would be very interested in hearing from any Thai farmers who are involved in agri-environment practices (particularly with a view to helping birds) with a view to creating a profile of their farm/activities on my new website thaibirding.com Thanks
